Opening times

We open 5 days a week during term time from 9.15am-3pm.

Following a Parent Consultation to best meet both parent need and funding requirements our new timetable effective from January 2011 is:

From 2½ years children can attend two sessions per week at a cost of £8.00 per session.  From the term after they are three years old, children can attend the lunch club.

The term after they are three, children are funded up to 15 hours per week. This funding can be used flexibly within the hours we offer. You can enjoy our playgroup for 15 hours with no extra costs by coming for: 3 short days, 2 part days and 2 short days or 4 part days and one short day.

Parents told us they like the way we run, so we continue to run our 5¾ hour day. Children can attend up to six mornings or afternoons as well as lunch.

A top-up fee applies when attending for more than 15 hours.

Some of our attendance options are not fully funded. e.g. a full day, 9.15am – 3pm; morning and lunch 9.15am – 12.30pm. Funding can only be claimed in complete ½hr blocks of time per day, so there is a top-up fee for the additional 15 minutes.

For Example:

Nathan attends Playgroup for 2 full days and one morning.

A full day is 5¾hr, 5½ of which attracts funding, with 15 minutes not funded. The morning is 2½hr, so he will use a total of 13½ funded hours and have a weekly top-up fee for the non-funded 1/2hr. This will be £1.60 per week making a total of £19.20 for the term. Our top-up rate is £3.20 per hour and is billed termly. This rsate is due for review in December and the new rate will be applied in the Winter term.

In the Spring and Summer terms we run a rising 5′s session on a Monday morning.
