Opening times

We open five days a week during term time from 9.00 am-3 pm.  Term dates for the academic year can be found on this site.

From September 2020, and before where possible/applicable/needed, the preschool have decided not to offer half days, we will only offer a five hour day or a full day.  Parents would have the option to pick up their child before or after lunch but we are going to have to schedule, and therefore charge, for what you are booked in for (either 5hr day or full day).  We are finding more and more two-year-olds are wanting to, and are able to do a full day from the outset, therefore the option of a half day is not necessarily required.  We no longer have an age restriction on the lunch time session, it is open to all ages.

We have many children requesting more than three days.  Emma Moore will be contacting the parents of these children to gauge an order of preference, 1st choice day, 2nd choice day etc.  We may have to reduce the amount of days we are able to offer especially on extremely busy / popular days.  We always give children continuing with us first choice of days, and this busy year may result in some new children, who are choosing popular days only being able to have 2 full days, but thankfully and hopefully they will get their first choices continuing with us into the following academic year.
New children joining us for one year only, the year before the reception year at primary school, will have to commit to doing a minimum of 2 days with us.
As said, all preschools and playgroups are feeling this squeeze, we are just implementing these adjustments as we want to maximise our capacity and also be fair to all children, especially all 3 yr olds who want to use their 15 hours funding.

We accept all early years 2 & 3 year old funding from Oxfordshire County Council.

We accept 30 hour funding if you are eligible – this can be split between us and a childminder or another setting.

We are registered for the tax free childcare scheme.

If you have childcare vouchers these can currently still be used for payment to our setting.
